This program is designed to prepare you and your puppy for a good life together. We will focus on your relationship, environmental exposure and proper socialization over five one-hour sessions.
This program utilizes methods appropriate for each individual dog and owner to develop the skills necessary to achieve reliability on cue for five basic commands: Sit, Down, Up (Place), Let's go (walk nicely on leash), and recall (come, here). Over five one-hour sessions we will use terminal and continuation markers to create an active learning environment, focus drive, activate scaffolded learning. and learn to use the leash as a dynamic communication tool.
Let me help you and your dog overcome whatever obstacles are preventing you from having a good life together. We will work together and develop safe management practices that initially reduce stress and risk. Then we will develop a practical plan to set you and your dog on a path to enjoying more freedom.
The goal of this program is to create affordable opportunities to help as many dogs and owners as possible. Each group consists of four (4) one-hour sessions with a maximum of six (6) dogs. We welcome you to bring your dog and train with us. Each group will be customized to meet the needs of all group participants.
